「School　Rules」

　Mimika，second-year junior high school student,is a kind girl and a good cook.

Sometimes she brings me home-made curry and cookies.However , in fact ,she has a problem,Futoko or "school refusal". That means a situation in which a student can't attend school because of various reasons.

The other day ,on a cold evening ,she came to our cram school and greeted me cheerfully as usual. After a while I asked , "Did you go to school today?" She replied , "No ,I couldn't go." in the pouts.

Me: Why?

Mimika: Because it was cold today.

Me: If you feel cold , why don't you wear track pants under your skirt.

Mimika: No way!! I can't break school rules like that!!!

'So ......you mean, you keep absent from school to keep school rules......
